And as we know, the government's vision of "Real Armenia" is without Mount Ararat. "In order to reduce the risks of falsification of these notes, to ensure their recognizability, clear visibility and legibility, to ensure compliance with international standards, as well as to increase the effectiveness of border control, it is proposed to review their forms. In addition, it is proposed to change the size of the date-stamps in order to use the relevant pages of the passport more optimally", - it is said in the justification of the decision.
At the same time, the NSS attached to this project presented the samples of new seals, where it was obvious that the only change is that there is no image of Mount Ararat. Let's remind that Armenia has started the process of normalization of relations with Turkey, the main goals of which are the opening of borders and the establishment of diplomatic relations. This decision was preceded by the visit of the special representative of the process of normalization of relations with Turkey, Serdar Kilic, to Armenia. some oppositionists emphasized that this was the price of Kilic coming to Armenia, because he did not conduct such negotiations with Armenia.
On this occasion, Edmon Marukyan, the chairman of the "Lusavore Armenia" party, sued the Government of the Republic of Armenia and demanded the cancellation of the decision through the court. It turns out that while the court is examining the issue, the decision has already entered into force from today."
