China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the G7 to adhere to the principles of market economy

China calls for maintaining the principles of market economy and international trade rules, as well as stopping the disruption of the international trade order, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a briefing on Thursday.

Bloomberg previously reported that the G7 is preparing to announce the creation of a mining alliance to counter China's market dominance.

He added that China's efforts to standardize and improve its national export control system are in line with international practice and are aimed at more effectively ensuring world peace and regional stability, as well as fulfilling its international obligations.
