On October 16, in Kampala, within the framework of the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomoyan met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Philippines Charles Jose for Multilateral and International Economic Relations.
As stated by the Foreign Ministry, both sides are willing to deepen the existing close cooperation between Armenia and the Philippines in multilateral platforms and international organizations. In this context, the parties highlighted the positive interaction formed within the Middle Income Countries group of like-minded people.
Issues of the regional and international agenda were addressed. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia presented to his colleague the latest developments in the South Caucasus. Referring to the importance of de-blockade in the region, Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomoyan highlighted the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative of the RA government.
The interlocutors exchanged ideas on 2026. Regarding the 17th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) hosted by Armenia.
