UAE spent $ 1.8 billion on gas humanitarian aid

During the two-year conflict in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian enclave spent $ 1.8 billion for humanitarian aid. This was stated by the State Minister of International Cooperation Rim al-Hashimi during a meeting of European and Arab representatives in Paris, Emirates Wam news agency reported.

The UAE has sent more than 8,000 trucks, foods, medicines and necessary accessories in the Gaza Strip. The UAE authorities have also provided medical care for 75,000 Palestinians and have kept six discharge stations.

The Minister stressed that the UAE intends to expand humanitarian programs in the Palestinian enclave.

In particular, the programs include the construction of additional water lines, increasing the number of aid distribution points, expansion of bakery and public cuisine, which will be able to provide Palestinians with up to 25,000 tons of food.
