A simple method has been found for a long covid19-IC after recovering

Regular exercises can restore the function of the immune system in people with syndrome after Covid. This conclusion was scientists from the University of Lafboro. The results of the study were presented in the Congress of European respiratory company (ers) in Amsterdam.

The study took part in a prolonged Covid-19 31 patients. All participants were previously hospitalized and had long-term effects of the disease, such as muscular weakness, fatigue, memory disorder, headache or breathing difficulty. Some participants have undergone an eight-week rehabilitation program, which included aerobic and power trainings. The rest received standard therapy without physical activity.

In the first group, researchers registered improved levels of immune system responsible for "naive" and "Memory" Ts, Immuneration's Immunity Responsibility for new and former infections. According to the authors, the exercises increase the flow of blood, accelerates the circulation of immune cells and reduces chronic inflammation.

According to scientists, these mechanisms can explain not only the improvement of well-being (decreasing the pain of fatigue, muscles and paintings), but also the growth of resistance to repetitive infections. Therefore, physical activity can be an effective element of comprehensive recovery after Covid-19.

In further study, scientists plan to find out if this approach operates in patients who have had a milder form of infection and did not need hospitalization.
