Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan does not recognize the Palestinian radical Hamas movement as a terrorist organization. He stated this in an interview with Fox News on Fox News.

"I do not consider Hamas a terrorist organization. On the contrary, I consider it a movement of resistance, "Erdogan said.

The Turkish leader noted that Hamas's military potential is enough to protect against Israeli attacks.
