Hrachya Poghosyan, a member of the Armenian national team, won Serbian representative Georgy Tibilov at the World Greco-Roman wrestling World Championship (60 kg) and became a bronze medalist. This was stated by the Armenian wrestling federation.
This is Poghosyan's first medal at the World Championship. He previously held the fifth place twice, only one step away from the medal.
