According to the publication, the construction groups started the work to prepare the area for the construction of an object with a total area of 8.4 thousand square meters.
The new structure will be located near the eastern arm of the White House, which was built in 1902. It will be able to accommodate up to 650 people. At present, the largest room in the White House, the oriental room is for 200 people. As previously reported, the construction should be completed until the end of the Presidential Term of Trump.
The official residence of the first US President George Washington, the White House, began built in 1792 with the project of architect James Juben. Washington himself has chosen the place of the building, the construction of which ended on November 1, 1800. On the same day, the second US President John Adams was taken there. The building was reconstructed in 1815-1817 after the fire of 1814.
