The alarms were performed at 11:00 local time (at 12:00 Moscow), but they were not audible everywhere. For example, in the northern German city, the alarm was almost audible, instead he was heard a short, hearable signal, which was only like a mistake.
However, the residents received their smartphones "Message of the Emergency Situation" with a sharp signal. The message was sent by the Federal Civil Defense and Disaster Relief Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The test was carried out within the framework of the annual "Warning Day", which the German authorities hold every second on September Thursday. On this day, systems are tested, which must work in case of real danger and warn the population in time.
