After a meeting with EU Special Sanctions, US Secretary of State, Washington has been trying to take strict measures against Russia in Ukraine, with the support of the EU, the Bessent wrote about this on the X social platform.
"The United States and the European Union are united in their position on the importance of termination of war in Ukraine, and all options remain on the table within the framework of the US President's strategy.
"How normal business approaches didn't work, we are ready to take strict measures against Russia, but our European partners should fully support us to succeed," Bessent wrote.
