The number of victims between protesters and police in the Nepali capital, Kathmandu, has reached the number of KATHMANDU POST newspaper, citing doctors.
At least one person was killed in clashes between police and protesters on Monday, injuring the authorities after banning the entry of several large social networks, Kathmandu Post reports.
According to Kathmandu Post, the situation has escalated after the protesters entered the Nepal parliament building. In response, law enforcement officers used water cannons, tear gas and combat bullets, as a result of which there are wounded among the protesters. In addition, the authorities of the capital have set a curfew in several regions of the city.
"The death toll from the protesters between protesters and the violent clashes between the protesters and the police on Monday has reached six," the newspaper writes.
According to the publication, the protesters died of the injuries received during the clashes. As one of the doctors told publication, ten more protesters were in the hospital with gunshot wounds.
