The delegation of the Palestinian Hamas movement met with the mediators of the conflict with Israel and received a new ceasefire proposal in Gaza, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported, citing an anonymous Palestinian official.
"The Hamas delegation received a new ceasefire offers from Egyptian and Qatar's mediators," he said.
According to the agency's source, "the proposal presents a framework agreement to start negotiations on a long-term ceasefire."
According to AFP, the draft agreement includes the previously offered items previously proposed by the United States, particularly a 60-day ceasefire and the hostages in two stages. The Hamas leadership will discuss the proposed version and make a decision.
