Washington continues to cooperate with Moscow and Kiev, supporting direct talks between the parties to the conflict, US Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker said.
"We communicate with the highest levels and continue to support direct talks between Russia and Ukraine," the diplomat said during an online briefing, answering the question about Moscow's goodwill on the negotiation process.
According to him, this military conflict has no solution on the battlefield, and a diplomatic solution is needed.
