Russia has repeatedly informed the Israeli side that Iran has no plans to acquire its own nuclear weapons, said Russian leader Vladimir Putin in an interview with Sky News Arabia within the framework of the International Economic Forum of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
"Russia has repeatedly informed Israel that there are no evidence of Iran's intention to create its own nuclear weapons (...). "If the Israeli side is concerned about this issue, they must be resolved," said the head of state.
According to Putin, the Islamic Republic has the right to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. The President noted that Russia is ready to help Tehran to develop this sphere.
