Iran confirms the death of one of the most influential figures of Ali Shamkhani.
Shamkhani was considered the General Adviser to Ayatollah's Security and Foreign Policy. In the past, he held the post of Minister of Defense and headed the Supreme National Security Council of Iran for almost a decade.
Shamkhan also knows that he had good ties with Western diplomatic circles, particularly in Washington and Europe. He died at the hospital after his injury was injured in Israel's attack, The Guardian reported.
