A young youth championship was held at athletics sports school under the jurisdiction of the Gyumri municipality. More than 150 athletes from Yerevan, Vanadzor, Kapan, Artashat and other settlements of Armenia took part in the competitions.
An official from the press department of the Gyumri community hall told Armenpress that the winners were awarded medals and diplomas. At the end of the event, the organizers thanked all the athletes and coaches, noting that such events promote the sports spirit and the healthy lifestyle of youth.
4 athletes from Gyumri sports school are going to take part in the European Athletics Championship to be held in Slovenia on June 22.
