Presidents of Iran and Azerbaijan Massoud Pezeshkian and Ilham Aliyev had a telephone conversation discussed the agenda of bilateral relations.
During the telephone conversation, the parties stressed that the relevant state bodies of the two countries are currently underway during the official visit to Pezeshkian (April 28 2025).
Within the framework of the agreements, the resumption of the Baku-Tabriz flight and the increase in the frequency of Baku-Tehran flights. In this regard, the parties expressed confidence that these flights will have a positive impact on the increase of contacts between the two peoples.
During the conversation, it was noted that the development of Azerbaijani-Iranian relations is currently observed, and expressed hope that due to joint efforts, relations between the two countries will develop dynamically in different spheres.
During the telephone conversation, the heads of state exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
