Germany sent troops to another country for the first time after World War II

Germany has sent a regular troop to another country since the Nazis period.

This was reported by Military Watch Magazine.

The German army has started to deploy its units in Vilnius, the newly, 45th tank brigade.

It should be reminded that in December 2023, Lithuanian and German defense ministers Arvidas Anushauskas and Boris Pistorius signed an action plan in Vilnius to deploy German Brigade in the country.

The transfer of the main subdivisions began in 2025. In two years, the German Brigade must reach full operative preparation in the Rudninka military school.

5,000 German soldiers are expected to arrive in Lithuania with families. According to the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, Germany intends to send a country to a heavy brigade with three maneuver battalions and with the necessary combat support and supply units.
