Answering the journalists' questions, Erdogan highlighted the importance of Zangezur corridor. "Zangezur's transition is not only Azerbaijan's land connection with Nakhichevan, but also a new line of integration, which is stretched to the Turkic world through Turkey," he said.
"We expect our neighboring Iran to support these steps that will serve peace, calmness and development in our region," he said. Erdogan expressed his support for the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace process. The Turkish President also stated this in the "cautious settlement process" between Turkey and Armenia.
