Regional elections will be held in the UK on May 1, showing the real popularity of the British political parties almost eight months after the general election. The polling stations will open at 07:00 local time and will be open to 22:00, and the first results will be published on Friday evening.
In general, the election result, which is the right to participate of 13.7 million British, will decide the fate of the 1600 mandates in the 23 local governments of England.
Six mayors will also be selected, including the Great Linklol Mountain (which includes the region of the same name in the north of the country and the two homesized authorities) and Hal and East Yorkshire regions.
