US President Donald Trump has stated that he and his wife Melania will take part in the funeral of Pope Francis. The American leader in the relevant publication is installed in Truth Social.
"Melania and I will attend the funeral of Pope Francis," said Trump's early The New York Post, citing the US President's schedule, saying that Trump will arrive in the Vatican to attend the funeral ceremony.
Francis, who led the Roman Catholic Church, died on April 21 at the age of 89 after its previous Benedict XVI (1927-2022).
The funeral must take place within 4-6 days of death.
