More than a third of companies in Germany plans to reduce jobs this year, according to the study of the German Institute of Economic Affairs (IW).
"The German economy is in a deep crisis. More than every third company plans to invest less this year than in 2024. About 35% of companies plan to reduce jobs, "the press release posted on the institute's website.
More than 2,000 companies have participated in the IW query, this year with their business expectations. And especially the companies of the construction and industry are especially pessimistic.
