The Milli Million (Upper Chamber of the Parliament) of Tajikistan's Mejlis (Upper Chamber of Parliament), Rustam Emomali, left for St. Petersburg to attend the meeting of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and the next plenary session of the Assembly. The visit will be his first foreign visit to the head of the Chamber of Head.
According to Rustam Emomali's Telegram, it was reported that during his visit he was accompanied by the chairmen of the upper house commissions and other officials.
The first session of the Milli Milli Milli took place on April 11. At the meeting, members of the Chamber unanimously elected Emomali as a speaker. He was headed by the upper house of the parliament of the previous convocation in 2020. Rustam Emomali is the eldest son of Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon.
