In educational institutions, cases of children were registered. What is known?


The staff of the RA Human Rights Defender regularly results in information on the existence of violence against children in secondary education institutions. At the same time, the alarms apply not only to physical, but also psychological violence, the lack of skills to communicate with children by teachers. In order to address these issues, the Human Rights Defender and the staff members regularly make public education institutions.

The Human Rights Defender has repeatedly touched upon the recognition of all types of violence against children, responding to such cases, as well as in the field of violence in the Republic of Armenia. These issues also recorded a number of international organizations. The problems, among otherwise, are due to the relevant views on the types of violence, as a result, due to the use of violence in work at work with children, as well as to detect cases of violence, prevention and response mechanisms.

This circumstance, in the context of regular alarms about violence, considers the Human Rights Defender a strong concern.
