EU foreign ministers will again discuss the possibility of providing Kiev with new air defense funds at a meeting in Luxembourg, but a decision is not guaranteed as funding from the European Peace Fund remains blocked. This was announced by the head of the EU's foreign policy service, Josep Borrell, in Luxembourg.
"We need to increase aid. "It is the only possible solution from our side," Borel said. "We will discuss how to lift the ban on European Peace Fund payments and how to increase Ukraine's anti-aircraft capabilities."
Borrell added that the EU foreign ministers will listen to their "Ukrainian counterpart about the situation in Ukraine". "I hope that we will be able to make some decision," he said.
