US President Joe Biden announced on Sunday during a tour of the hurricane-ravaged state of Florida that more than $600 million will be given to states affected by Hurricanes Helen and Milton, which also devastated Georgia and North Carolina, NBC reports. News.

During a speech in St. Pete Beach, Biden said about $100 million of the money would go toward improving Florida's power system. He noted that this is his second visit to the state in two weeks.
