According to media reports, the pilots made an emergency landing in Cologne "due to the destructive behavior of passengers", who spat at each other and started fighting. As a result, they were taken off the plane, accompanied by four police officers. During the arrest, the passenger stated that she "didn't do anything wrong" and tried to escape from the law enforcement officers.
The forced landing of the plane at the German airport cost the robbers 20 thousand pounds (more than 2.5 million rubles). As a result of the incident on the plane, the passengers of the return flight from Dalaman to Edinburgh were also injured.
