Hamas hopes that the Doha talks will lead to the second round of Gaza ceasefire

The Palestinian radical Hamas movement hopes that the new stage of indirect negotiations with Israel will lead to the second stage of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Street. This was reported by Asharq TV with reference to Hamas representative.

"We hope that the round of talks that started today will lead to tangible progress and the beginning of the second stage of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip," said the representative of the Palestinian Movement.

According to Al Arabia TV, Hamas plans to hold consultations with the mediators on March 12. Steven Vitkov, a US presidential envoy, is expected to arrive in the capital of the Republic of Qatar.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced that the Israeli negotiators will leave for Qatar on March 10. They will try to activate negotiations in Gaza on the release of hostages held in Gaza.
