Hungary will announce at the Brussels summit that Ukraine's membership in the EU is not realistic

Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban intends to inform the EU summit on March 6 that he considers Ukraine an unrealistic community to enter the community.

"We will not say anything else at the next EU summit than what we have said so far. Ukraine's membership in the EU is unrealistic, "said the Prime Minister on Facebook.

Orban reminded that, according to Hungary, the immediate connection of Ukraine to the EU will damage irritating agriculture and the whole European economy. In addition, the Ukrainian authorities have not returned the rights of the Hungarian minority in the Transcaucatiation and have not stopped operations that threaten Hungarian's energy security. These requirements have also raised Budapest when discussing the integration of European institutions to European structures.

At the same time, Orban noted that it does not rule out the possibility of Ukraine's EU membership in the future if it fulfills all the necessary requirements and meet the standards of membership candidates.
