"Noting the statements of some American politicians about the desire to communicate with Iran, the Foreign Ministry spokesman called the imposition of sanctions against the Iranian people," the statement said.
According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the United States, which hinders the development of Iran's foreign trade, "contradicts the principles of the UN, in particular, the principle of respect for national self-government and the people's self-determination."
