During the counting of votes for the presidential elections of Belarus, national observers did not find any violations. This is stated in the Telegram channel message of the Public Observation Center.
"According to the data of national observers in the polling stations, no violations were recorded during the counting of votes," the message says.
The observers also reported that "there were separate cases when citizen voters provoked members of election commissions and violated public order." "The commissions reacted according to the law," they noted.
44 thousand national observers were accredited for the presidential elections, of which more than 35 thousand are representatives of public associations and political parties. Almost 500 international observers also followed the course of the elections.
According to the preliminary data of the Central Electoral Commission of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko received 86.82% of the votes in the presidential elections held the previous day.
