Aram Hovhannisyan, Chief of Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, held an operational meeting on January 10, which was attended by the heads of the territorial units of the police services.
Deputy Chiefs of Police were also present.
Questions regarding the operational situation, the fight against crime, as well as cooperation between the pillar directions were discussed. The process of implementation of previously given instructions was discussed, shortcomings were highlighted, measures to correct them were suggested.
New approaches in contacts with citizens, activation of work with target groups were highlighted.
Aram Hovhannisyan instructed to intensify the daily struggle, especially in the direction of prevention of crimes committed by or against minors, illegal drug trafficking, detection of illegally stored weapons and ammunition.
