South Korean police chiefs were called to a meeting before the president's arrest

The police leadership of the Republic of Korea's Capital Region has been summoned to a meeting to prepare for a second attempt to allegedly arrest President Yun Seok-yeol. This is reported by Yonhap agency.

The National Police Investigation Bureau has summoned the chiefs of investigative units from Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and "other regions" to the capital to possibly discuss a plan to attempt a second arrest.

Earlier, it became known that the National Investigation Department has distributed a document that instructs to prepare conditions for the involvement of about 1000 investigators in case of a second arrest attempt.
About 150 people participated in the first attempt: 30 employees of the anti-corruption investigation department of high-ranking officials and about 120 police officers.
