Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said in a comment to TV journalist Pavel Zarubin that his dispute with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the session of the Eurasian Higher Economic Council was dictated by the need to be happy.
According to him, otherwise journalists, including Zarubin himself, would have nothing to pay attention to. A part of the dialogue was published in the journalist's Telegram channel.
"It was for you to have a happier time, otherwise there wouldn't be anything else interesting to look at," Lukashenko said.
At the session of December 26, Pashinyan announced that the RA delegation will not go to Minsk to participate in the EAEU summit, but will participate remotely.
In response, Lukashenko said that they will consider this statement, and Pashinyan countered that no one can consider his statement.
Lukashenko said that they will consider the option of turning off the TV so that the RA Prime Minister cannot participate in the session.
