Aliyev assessed the probability of war between Russia and NATO

The political wisdom in the Russian Federation and the United States is sufficient to prevent the nightmare scenario of a war between Russia and NATO from happening, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated in an interview with VGTRK and RIA Novosti.

"I think there is enough political wisdom in Washington and Moscow, as well as in other capitals, to ensure that such a nightmare scenario (a military confrontation between the Russian Federation and NATO) does not materialize," he told the Russia Today international media group. CEO Dmitry Kiselev in an interview.

Russia notes the unprecedented activity of NATO on its western borders. The alliance is expanding the initiative and calling it "deterring Russian aggression". The Kremlin noted that Moscow does not threaten anyone, but will not ignore potentially dangerous actions for its interests.

In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, Russian President Vladimir Putin explained in detail that Moscow is not going to attack NATO countries, it makes no sense.
