On September 4, 2024, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, within the framework of his visit to Vayots Dzor region, instructed to ensure the reopening of the program for young families in Gomk settlement of Vaik community.

"With this project, it is proposed to reopen this program for Baghanis, Berkaber, Kirants and Voskepar of Tavush marz, as well as Gomk settlement of Vayots Dzor marz with the following quota. up to 50 beneficiaries in Voskepar, up to 50 in Baghanis, 40 beneficiaries in Berkaber, 50 beneficiaries in Kirant and up to 30 beneficiaries in Gomk. in this case, it is mandatory to have a child under the age of 13," said Narek Mkrtchyan.

"With this project, we propose to give another 190 beneficiaries the opportunity to build a house in other border settlements defined by the project, those who were granted building permits up to and including September 1, 2024, but did not have time to apply for it, because the limit had expired, and they had made financial expenses for the building permit, some had purchased a plot of land to become the beneficiary of this project," said the minister.
