There is no need for a third country in peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Hikmet Hajiyev

Discussions are underway between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

As APA reports, Hikmet Hajiyev, the head of the foreign policy department of the office of the President of Azerbaijan, told journalists about this.

According to Hajiyev, there is no need for a third country in peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

"On the contrary, the presence of a third country harms the normalization of relations," added the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan.

He assured that there is no longer a factor of war between the two countries.

"Azerbaijan has fully ensured its territorial integrity and sovereignty," Hajiyev said.
