Mr. Aslanyan was removed from the faction by the decision of the faction due to violation of party and faction rules, due to known circumstances. Artur Hovhannisyan, the secretary of the CP faction, informed about this in a briefing with journalists at the National Assembly.
"Mr. Aghazaryan, who was organizing leaks from the faction, which is proven by the facts, and a scattered episode where someone would defend that process, naturally, should have met the same fate," he said.
The deputy mentioned that Aslanyan will be removed from the CP party, which the board members will talk about further.
"I think, naturally, we will be guided in that way. Aslanyan is no longer a member of the CP faction. We have discussed the issue of the mandate, at this moment I have not noticed final clarity with Mr. Aslanyan, I have noticed that he does not want to give up his mandate."
According to Hovhannisyan, the meeting was held in a partnership atmosphere, Aslanyan was given the opportunity to explain the logic of his actions, which he was unable to do.
