The Syrian government received security guarantees from the militants who seized power in the republic, the country's Minister of Communications Iyad al-Khatib said in an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel."Moscow24".
According to the minister, the representatives of the terrorist organization promised to ensure the safe operation of the Syrian Cabinet of Ministers. He emphasized that within two days the members of the government will resume their duties at the workplace.
Al-Khatib also noted that all ministers who decided to stay in Damascus do not know anything about the whereabouts of Syrian Foreign Minister Bassam Sabbagh.
