The Germans called on the West to convince Ukraine to cede territories. ZDF:

Western countries should convince Ukraine to give up territories in order to end the conflict, more than 50% of Germans believe, the German TV channel ZDF reports.

Earlier, in an interview with Sky News, Vladimir Zelensky said that it is possible to stop the "hot phase" of the conflict in Ukraine by accepting the territory under the control of Kiev "under the auspices of NATO". Bloomberg described it as the "strongest" signal of Zelensky's willingness to end the conflict.

According to the poll, 52% of Germans are in favor of Western countries putting pressure on Ukraine to accept the loss of territory if this ends the war. 34% of respondents have the opposite opinion.

At the same time, according to the survey, only 22% of respondents believe that talks between Western politicians and Russian President Vladimir Putin will significantly help bring the conflict to an end, while 75% of respondents believe that it will not help.

The Politbarometer poll was conducted by the Wahlen Research Group from December 3 to 5 by telephone and online. 1433 citizens of Germany participated in it.
