The conflict in Ukraine can be resolved only if all major powers show positive energy.

Lin Jian, the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said this in a briefing in response to TASS's request to comment on the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that the solution to the Ukrainian crisis is not only the problem of Moscow and Washington.

"Only when all major powers show positive energy can we see hope for an early ceasefire," Lin Jiang said.
