Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly said before the meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels that Canada will impose sanctions on representatives of the Georgian government, aliq.ge reports.
"I answered this question yesterday in Riga, where I was present at the meeting of "3+1".
I said that I would really impose sanctions on Georgian officials and organizations, and we will do it, of course, working with our American and European friends," said Melanie Jolie.
Let's remind that yesterday Melanie Joly announced at the press conference held with the Foreign Ministers of Latvia and Estonia and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania that Canada will impose sanctions on individuals and business entities involved in human rights violations or corruption.
