RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development of the Netherlands Reinette Claver in The Hague on December 2. The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of developing cooperation in sectoral directions parallel to the active political dialogue between Armenia and the Netherlands.
Among the areas of mutual interest, water resources management, health care, promotion of economic cooperation by encouraging investments were highlighted. Minister Mirzoyan noted that RA highly values the Netherlands' support for reforms in the fields of democracy, rule of law and human rights protection in Armenia, which was also reflected in In the document setting out the priorities of the coalition government of the Netherlands.
He emphasized the importance of the continuity of cooperation in this direction. The interlocutors discussed the prospects of further deepening of the RA-EU partnership. In this context, Ararat Mirzoyan and Rainet Clever also exchanged ideas on the projects aimed at ensuring regional connectivity. Presenting the RA vision of establishing stable peace in the South Caucasus, the RA Foreign Minister referred to the "Crossroads of Peace" program developed by the RA government.
At the meeting, the RA Foreign Minister also presented the steps taken by the RA government to address the needs of the forcibly displaced Armenians from Nagorno Karabakh.
