8 boxers representing Armenia won gold medals at the 2nd International Boxing Tournament "Friendship Cup", reports the Boxing Federation of Armenia.

Tigran Kirakosyan (46kg), Hakob Sharbatyan (48kg), Narek Mkhitaryan (50kg), Hayk Karapetyan (54kg), Suren Katvalyan (57kg), Erik Aperyan (60kg), Edgar Sukiasyan (70kg) and Aram Tumanyan (+80kg) became gold medalists. In the tournament, Armenian athletes also won 11 silver and They won 7 bronze medals.

In total, more than 130 athletes competed for 13 sets of medals. Armenian athletes won 8 out of 13 weight classes.

It should be noted that the tournament was held from November 27 to 30 in the "Dynamo" sports complex, in which the young boxers of Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Israel, Moldova, Iran and Greece participated.
