Protesters in Tbilisi threw stones and pyrotechnics at the parliament, and also threw burning objects into it, as a result of which a fire started in the premises inside the building, which was extinguished, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs reports. “The rally participants threw pyrotechnics towards the legislative building.

In addition, using stones and various objects, they damaged the windows of the working premises located on the front and side facades of the parliament. Burning objects were also thrown into the legislative body, resulting in a fire in several rooms of the parliament building, which has now been extinguished,” the statement said.
