This was the torture of jurisprudence. After the court session, the second president of RA, Robert Kocharyan, said this in a conversation with journalists.
Referring to the new charge against him, Kocharyan said:
"Have you heard that fairy tale?" I put on my headphones so I wouldn't hear that nonsense. They say that there was an illegal decree on the state of emergency, why the illegality, that decree was approved by the National Assembly within 24 hours.
"If the prosecutor understood a little bit of jurisprudence, he would have opened the Constitution, it is written in the transition period that the president has the right to introduce a state of emergency by decree before the adoption of the law," he said.
