Artur Poghosyan was appointed the chairman of the RA Investigative Committee, Eduard Hakobyan, the chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee.
The drafts of relevant decisions were approved by the RA government a little while ago.
Poghosyan thanked him for confirming his candidacy for that position.
"I assure you that I will use all my professional experience, all my potential and knowledge in strengthening the legality in Armenia, establishing the legal system and justifying society's expectations in the field of criminal justice," said the newly appointed chairman of the Central Committee.
He mentioned that in the course of his activity, he will invest in the steady implementation of the principles of equality and inevitability of responsibility before the law and will contribute to the strengthening of the sense of fairness and justice among the society.
