Samvel Farmanyan, a former member of the RA National Assembly, writes:
"Many critical arguments have been made about Nicole's latest historical-geographic gem. However, it seems to me that the most important one has been bypassed and the most dangerous one ignored.
That was the reaction of official Ankara and Baku. In Turkey, Pashinyan's "gift" was largely ignored, from the official circles to the media, when it seemed that it should be the opposite. In Azerbaijan, it was not appreciated properly, becoming a new object of mockery.
I continue to be of the opinion that "gifts" like Nikol's are not so much the result of direct dictates from Turkey or Azerbaijan, forcing them to say, as is common among us, but rather his personal, own initiative.
Recklessly dismantling Armenia's security system and consistently sucking its resistance to rebuke new fatal external challenges, Nikol is trying to prevent the coming new trouble with diplomatic "dexterity" known only to him in this way, making it clear that he is personally ready for anything, as if free to keep those countries from new aggression.
Here, the lack of an adequate response to Nikol's "gifts" concerns me much more than Nikol's leftist diplomacy. This is usually the case when you already have a guaranteed plan to achieve more than what is offered.
