The 37th World Military Wrestling Championship has started in Yerevan. As a result of the first day of wrestling, the following athletes of the Armenian national team reached the finals:
Suren Aghajanyan (60 kg), Gaspar Terteryan (67 kg), Sargis Begoyan (61 kg) and Andranik Avetisyan (65 kg) will compete for gold in the final, Elen Babajanyan (53 kg) for silver, and Ashot Khachatryan (77 kg) and Hrachya Poghosyan (63 kg) for bronze medals.
Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan announced this on his social network page, wishing success and victories to the athletes.
