The acting president of the Supreme Judicial Council is Karen Tumanyan. This was announced by the RA judiciary.
"Based on the application submitted by Armen Danielyan, the senior member of the Supreme Judicial Council on November 18, 2024, to refuse to fulfill the duties of the President of the Supreme Judicial Council on the basis of seniority and guided by Article 84, Part 13 of the Constitutional Law "Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia", According to Article 87, Part 1, Clause 2 and Article 94, Part 1, the Supreme Judicial Council decides:
1. To entrust the duties of the president of the Supreme Judicial Council to Karen Tumanyan, the next senior member of the Supreme Judicial Council, until the vacancy of the president of the Supreme Judicial Council is filled."
